‘Swathanthra’ is a Malayalam word which can be translated as ‘Unconditionally free’ or as ‘completely free’. It seems to be even more apt than the English word ‘free’.
SLI formerly known as ‘FLI’ [Free Learning Institute] was found by I. B. Manoj, an experienced computer hardware professional, back in 2009. Initially it started as a venture to give free training in free softwares for school children. As the time went by we found it difficult to run it purely as a free training institute. So we decided to incorporate professional training with our activities. Now SLI conducts free training programs for school children and professional training programs for college students, employees, professionals, job seeking candidates, retired employees, house-wives, etc. To see details of our training programs visit our courses page.
